The first national clean energy heating demonstration project of "disc solar energy+gas boiler" has been successfully put into operation

In Mukainaoer Town, Etuoke Banner, Ordos City, Inner Mongolia, the country's first disc solar energy+gas boiler clean energy heating demonstration project, invested by Ordos Mengao New Energy Company and constructed using Dongfang Honghai New Energy Technology Development Co., Ltd.'s (hereinafter referred to as Dongfang Honghai) disc solar concentrating tracking and collection technology, has been officially put into operation, with a heating area of 28000 square meters.

Yang Xiaofei, Chairman of Mengao New Energy, introduced that all heating in the entire town of Mukainaoer and industrial steam in Mengao New Energy Distillery are provided by solar energy, without burning coal or electricity. The use of solar focused tracking and heat collection technology for heating is a technological attempt by Mengao New Energy. The first phase of the project installed 18 disc solar spotlighting and tracking systems, as well as a gas boiler, which can not only provide 24-hour heating for the entire town, but also provide industrial steam and hot water for enterprises, achieving efficient utilization of solar energy; Every year, it can save 1000 tons of standard coal and reduce over 2600 tons of carbon dioxide emissions for the local area. And it has achieved a one-stop service for the research and development of steam production and heating through the use of solar concentrating technology.

It is reported that Inner Mongolia has increased its efforts to promote the transformation of clean energy this year, replacing conventional coal-fired energy with multi energy complementary methods such as wind power and solar thermal. It has also carried out demonstrations of renewable energy buildings and integrated demonstration plans for solar photovoltaic buildings. The renovation of heating projects covers an area of 220000 square meters, with 19 national renewable energy building demonstration cities and towns and 47 national solar photovoltaic building application demonstration projects in the early stage, achieving a cumulative solar thermal application area of over 70 million square meters. By the end of 2020, the entire district plans to increase the total area of clean heating with renewable energy by over 8 million square meters.

About Dongfang Honghai's Disc type Solar Concentrated Tracking and Heat Collection Technology

Since its establishment in 2011, Dongfang Honghai has been committed to the research and development of disc solar thermal technology and Stirling engines, and has mastered the two core technologies of Stirling engine technology and solar spotlight tracking technology. Since 2016, the company has made bold explorations in other application areas of disc tracking systems and Stirling engines. It has successively developed disc solar heating and steam supply systems, gas-fired Stirling power generation systems for biogas and oilfield associated gas combustion, and hot gas Stirling cogeneration systems for garbage incineration and biomass straw incineration.

At present, Dongfang Honghai has an assembly line with an annual output of 10000 Stirling engines.

In terms of the application of disc solar spotlight tracking system in winter heating and industrial steam, at the end of 2017, Dongfang Honghai applied disc spotlight technology to the heating field, and successively participated in the construction of Tongliao Solar Disc Heating Project in Inner Mongolia, Guazhou County Government Heating Project in Jiuquan, Gansu, and 2T Industrial Steam+22000 ㎡ Heating Project in Mukainao'er Town, Ordos, Inner Mongolia.
